Legal Content Developer (German Speaker) - Remote

Overview

Mercor is seeking native German speakers who are also legal professionals based in Germany. This role combines your legal expertise across a wide variety of different subjects with language mastery, helping train cutting-edge AI models in the legal domain.

In Short

• Translate, adapt, and synthesize complex nuances in legal practices in Germany.
• Write fluently in both German and English.
• Provide cultural insights specific to the German legal system.
• Collaborate with reviewers and peers to refine content.
• Work asynchronously and on your own schedule.
• Contribute at least 20 hours per week.
• Commit to around 2 months of work.

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in German with strong written and spoken English.
• Advanced degree in Law.
• 2–6+ years of practicing law in Germany.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with assessment and rubric development is a plus.
• Familiarity with generative AI models or machine learning concepts is a bonus.
