Material Handler Quality Control - Remote

Overview

The QC Material Handler is responsible for assessing, physically processing, and tracking all inbound damaged finished goods at their assigned Distribution Center, while also assisting the QC Inspector as needed.

In Short

• Assess and process inbound damaged finished goods.
• Utilize computer software for data entry and communications.
• Operate powered material handling equipment.
• Quarantine tagging and removal of tags for products.
• Maintain communication with divisional partners.
• Assist with various quality control tasks.
• Perform basic math for product assessments.
• Work in variable environmental conditions.
• Lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs.
• Travel for training or customer visits as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with powered warehouse equipment.
• Entry-level skill in Microsoft Excel.
• Intermediate skill in Microsoft Word.
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
• Close vision and depth perception required.
• Previous quality control experience preferred.
• Understanding of FDA/QSR/ISO14551 guidelines preferred.
• Prior experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to perform core functions of the position.
