Material Handler - 1st Shift - Remote

Overview

The Material Handler is responsible for the physical processing of finished goods, returns, and managing inventory variances in a manufacturing environment.

In Short

• Physical processing of cancelled jobs and production returns.
• Repack and salvage finished goods.
• Research and manage inventory variances.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform custodial duties including trash collection and cleaning.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Work collaboratively to achieve team objectives.
• Be available for daily overtime as needed.
• Must have a high sense of urgency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Basic math skills (addition and subtraction).
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, and lift for extended periods.
• Certification on wave and order picker is preferred.
• Must work well with others in a team environment.
• Must be able to work 30 or more hours per week to qualify for benefits.
• Willingness to work overtime regularly.
• Must have a strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
