In Short

  • Handle inquiries from customers, clients, or providers via phone and e-mail.
  • Receive requests regarding insurance claims/policies while operating on multiple computer applications.
  • Respond to inquiries from policy holders and providers.
  • Perform research to respond to inquiries and interpret policy provisions.
  • Independently respond to inquiries, grievances, complaints, or appeals.
  • Strong proficiency in both Japanese and English is required.
  • 1+ years of customer service experience required.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have a reliable internet connection.
  • Eligible for annual bonus plan.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to perform in a high-volume, fast-paced call center environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management focus.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask independently on a computer.
  • Call center experience is a plus.
  • Must comply with HIPAA regulations and corporate policies.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must be able to handle complex customer service issues.
