Overview

As a Financial Assistance Specialist, you will help patients access the financial resources they need by coordinating copay and foundation assistance programs, supporting reimbursement activities, and resolving billing-related issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of experience in medical billing or related roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and billing code interpretation.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Preferred: Knowledge of copay and foundation assistance programs.
• Understanding of insurance reimbursement and payer guidelines.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and billing systems.
• Prior experience in home infusion billing is a plus.
