Overview

The Finance Specialist will manage budgeting processes, financial modeling, and reporting for the Centre for Effective Altruism, ensuring effective use of resources across multiple entities.

• Own and manage the annual budget preparation process.
• Compile and prepare consolidated CEA budgets for leadership review.
• Design improved budget templates and systems.
• Prepare user guidance for budget processes.
• Develop financial reporting processes and tools.

• Prepare cash flow analysis and provide insights to leadership.
• Handle ad-hoc analysis requests.
• Strong financial planning & analysis experience required.
• Advanced spreadsheet and financial modeling skills needed.

Requirements

• Experience managing budgets for mid-sized to large organizations.
• Comfort building complex financial models from scratch.
• Experience in finance within global organizations or nonprofits preferred.
• Strong SQL skills and relational database experience.
• Certification in accounting or financial analysis preferred.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
