commercetools Architect - Remote

Overview

The commercetools Architect will work hand in hand with the rest of the technical team and deliver robust and scalable eCommerce/ Marketplace solutions. You will be customer focused and should develop a strong understanding of the client needs from a technical perspective.

In Short

• Master and implement MACH solutions around digital commerce & marketplaces.
• Design scalable eCommerce/ marketplace solutions using commercetools.
• Mentor team members on MACH technologies.
• Collaborate with delivery managers on technical aspects of implementations.
• Ensure technical success of commercetools projects.
• Integrate commercetools with other systems and third-party tools.
• Drive business development and client satisfaction.
• Participate in interviewing technical staff.
• Stay updated on technology trends.
• Occasionally travel to client sites and conferences.

Requirements

• Experience in architecting and implementing enterprise-scale projects.
• Solid experience with commercetools.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on enterprise development experience.
• Strong understanding of commercetools architecture.
• Agile project execution experience.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms like GCP, Azure, AWS is a plus.
• Familiarity with building responsive websites.
• Experience in creating modules (payment, shipping, etc.).
• Experience setting up a practice is a big plus.
