In Short

  • Lead the resolution of complex financial and benefits billing escalations.
  • Investigate and resolve escalated cases involving billing errors and disputes.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on multi-system issues.
  • Act as the primary bridge between various departments to clarify issues.
  • Reconcile claims data and finance outputs.
  • Track cases through resolution and maintain documentation.
  • Identify trends in escalations and propose process improvements.
  • Communicate clearly with members and stakeholders.
  • Handle complex billing escalations effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in medical billing or escalation management.
  • Proven ability to handle complex billing escalations.
  • Deep understanding of claims lifecycle and insurance adjudication.
  • Familiarity with billing systems and issue tracking tools.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent critical-thinking skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Empathy-driven and member-centric approach.
  • Creative problem-solver.
