Overview

The Associate Clinical Billing Specialist is responsible for managing billing tasks related to patient accounts, ensuring timely and accurate posting of payments, and handling refunds and adjustments.

• Work with assigned billing queues following policies and procedures.
• Handle cash posting, control, and data entry/scanning tasks.
• Interpret EOBs and manage patient accounts.
• Conduct research on payments and adjustments.
• Ensure daily balancing of cash and adjustments.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED plus two years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree or four years of relevant experience.
• Detail-oriented with strong mathematical skills.
• Above average communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Experience with cash posting and account reconciliation.
• Knowledge of insurance billing practices.
• Proficient in data entry and documentation.
• Ability to research and resolve billing issues.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
