Overview

As a Technical Account Manager at Mattermost, you will be the primary technical lead and trusted advisor for strategic customers in defense, intelligence, security, and critical infrastructure.

In Short

  • Lead end-to-end onboarding journey for customers.
  • Recommend deployment architectures and document design decisions.
  • Identify integration opportunities within customer DevOps toolchains.
  • Develop scripts, plug-ins, and API workflows for automation.
  • Deliver workshops on DevOps collaboration and security hardening.
  • Capture customer feedback to shape product roadmap.
  • Mentor newer TAMs and Solutions Engineers.
  • Exceptional communication skills required.
  • Willingness to travel up to ~15% for workshops.
  • Good knowledge of LLM tooling preferred.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Technical Account Management or similar roles.
  • Deep Linux expertise and troubleshooting skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to read and write code in modern languages.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms.
  • Grasp of DevOps and IT Service Management practices.
  • Willingness to travel for onsite workshops.
  • Eligibility for U.S. government security clearance.
  • Meet export-controlled information access requirements.
