Senior Data QA Engineer - Remote

Overview

This position is for our rapidly expanding Sri Lankan team. As a Senior Data QA Engineer, you will work closely with our global colleagues, supporting Data engineering and BI teams with in-depth validation of data transformations, migrations, and integrations across various platforms, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

In Short

• Identify, compare, and resolve data quality problems.
• Evaluate large dataset for quality and accuracy.
• Work with the Data Engineering and BI team to correct data quality errors.
• Track, monitor, and document testing results.
• Research and determine test scope and verification process for new features/dashboards.
• Constantly improve the current data QA process and be innovative about it.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science and Information Systems, Database Management, Big Data, Data Engineering.
• 3+ years in Software Quality Assurance or data analytics.
• 3+ years of experience with writing complex SQL queries and Python.
• 3+ years of experience working with large data sources.
• Understanding of ETL methodologies, Data Warehousing concepts and cloud technologies.
