People & Culture Generalist (15 Month Contract) - Remote

Overview

Plenty of Fish is seeking a People and Culture Generalist for a 15-month contract to support HR operations, employee relations, and culture initiatives in a hybrid work environment.

In Short

• Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and employee reviews.
• Manage benefits communication and administration.
• Maintain employee records in Workday.
• Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers.
• Support engagement surveys and culture-building programs.
• Work cross-functionally on global HR initiatives.
• Experience in a high-tech dynamic environment is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets for data analysis.
• Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Workday.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in a generalist HR role.
• 1 year of experience in benefits administration.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• High level of initiative and proactivity.
• Ability to balance priorities and provide excellent customer service.
• Critical thinking skills for data analysis.
• Knowledge of BC’s Employment Standards Act.
• CPHR designation or working towards it is a plus.
