Overview

Mashgin is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage the expense side of accounting, focusing on areas such as revenue recognition and lease accounting, while working in a fast-paced startup environment.

In Short

• Own the general ledger and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and subledgers.
• Oversee the sales tax process and ensure timely filings.
• Participate in the monthly close process.
• Engage in audits, including annual financial audits.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of a financial system.
• Drive process and system improvements.
• Oversee the procure to pay process.
• Manage payroll processes for timely employee payments.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 7+ years of accounting experience in public or private companies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
