Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Accountant at Zenjob, you will be responsible for enhancing our Finance processes, ensuring smooth operations in accounts payable, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

In Short

• Manage accounts payable including invoice processing and account maintenance.
• Oversee payment runs in DATEV and monitor deadlines.
• Handle travel expense reimbursements ensuring accuracy and transparency.
• Support general ledger accounting and contribute to monthly and annual closings.
• Act as a sparring partner for internal stakeholders and coordinate with external service providers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in accounting with a focus on accounts payable.
• Strong knowledge of DATEV and HGB.
• Structured, reliable, and solution-oriented work style.
• Very good German skills (C1+) and solid English skills (B2+).
• Proficient in Excel; knowledge of MOSS is a plus.
