Overview

The Senior Accounting Operations Specialist will oversee various accounting functions, manage payroll processes, and handle HR-related tasks within a dynamic organization.

In Short

• Oversee accounting close, accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare payroll files for external payroll provider.
• Administer employee paperwork including benefits enrollment.
• Manage tax affairs in coordination with external tax firms.
• Consult with external counsel on employment regulations.
• Coordinate with financial institutions on treasury matters.
• Manage contracts with vendors and contractors.
• Provide visa support for overseas employees.
• Manage time and attendance tracking.

Requirements

• Strong English and Japanese communication skills.
• Experience with NetSuite and HRIS Software.
• Self-driven with minimal supervision.
• Experience in a startup or US-headquartered company is a plus.
• Experience in payroll processes and HR regulations is a plus.
• Qualification of Class 1 Health Supervisor is a nice to have.
