Manager, Revenue Accounting - Remote

Overview

The Manager, Revenue Accounting at Mapbox will lead the end-to-end revenue recognition process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and overseeing various accounting activities.

In Short

• Lead revenue recognition process in compliance with ASC 606.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue accounting activities.
• Design scalable processes for order-to-cash workflows.
• Partner with Technical Revenue Team for contract reviews.
• Mentor a team of revenue accountants.
• Prepare audit-ready documentation.
• Monitor internal controls related to revenue.
• Coordinate with FP&A for revenue forecasting.

Requirements

• BS in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA License.
• Experience with Netsuite, Stripe, and Salesforce preferred.
• 5+ years in revenue accounting, preferably in SaaS.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management skills.
