Revenue Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

The Revenue Accounting team is looking for a Revenue Accounting Manager to join our growing team. The Revenue Accounting Manager will own various revenue accounting close tasks as well as ad hoc order-to-cash initiatives and projects and assist with various system implementation and automation projects. In keeping with Reddit values, the successful candidate in this role is someone who operates with an open mindset and “values the human” in all interactions.

In Short

• Oversee the day-to-day activities of the revenue accounting function.
• Perform month-end close and reporting process for revenue.
• Spearhead critical order-to-cash projects.
• Assess current practices and assist with scalable accounting processes.
• Review sales arrangements for proper revenue recognition.
• Support external audits and SOX controls improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6+ years revenue accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; active CPA required.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills.
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606.
• Hands-on experience with Netsuite and Salesforce.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work under time pressure and prioritize workload.
• Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
