Overview

The Revenue Accounting Manager will manage revenue recognition for the consolidated company, ensuring timely and accurate revenue recognition and reconciliation across systems.

In Short

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all revenue-related questions and reporting.
  • Automate reporting for revenue, AR and implicit price concession (IPC).
  • Regularly reconcile charges and collections from Equip’s billing system to EHR system and the bank.
  • Prepare monthly revenue and IPC entries and reconcile corresponding general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare technical accounting memos for guidance application and policies.
  • Develop and document revenue accounting processes and procedures.
  • Review and interpret payor contracts for accounting implications.
  • Audit pay rates sheet for revenue reporting and billing alignment.
  • Monitor AR days outstanding by payor.
  • Work with the Revenue Cycle team on reconciliation differences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 8+ years experience in Revenue Accounting and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles, particularly ASC 606.
  • Ability to research accounting literature and simplify complex situations.
  • Experience in high-tech or software industries.
  • Proficiency in analyzing large datasets and identifying trends.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly collaborative with ownership and accountability.
