Revenue Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

The Revenue Accounting Manager will manage revenue recognition for the consolidated company, ensuring timely and accurate revenue recognition and reconciliation across systems. This role requires extensive experience in revenue recognition accounting and exceptional analytical skills.

In Short

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all revenue-related questions and reporting.
• Automate reporting for revenue, AR and implicit price concession (IPC).
• Regularly reconcile charges and collections from Equip’s billing system to EHR system and bank.
• Prepare monthly revenue and IPC entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Develop and document revenue accounting processes and procedures.
• Review and interpret payor contracts for accounting implications.
• Monitor and report on AR days outstanding by payor.
• Work closely with Revenue Cycle team to discuss reconciliation differences.
• Partner with Finance to enhance payor-specific revenue forecasting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 8+ years experience in Revenue Accounting, IT/Report building, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles, particularly ASC 606.
• Proficiency in analyzing large datasets and identifying trends.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Experience in high-tech or software industries.
• Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment.
