Overview

The Revenue Accounting Manager at Better will focus on revenue accounting for various products, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting while collaborating across departments.

In Short

• Drive the month-end close process for revenue accounting.
• Create and review journal entries and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve revenue transaction issues.
• Implement accounting processes for new revenue streams.

Requirements

• Degree in accounting or finance.
• 5-7 years of accounting experience.
• At least 1 year of management experience.
• Adaptability to frequent changes in the business environment.
• Proficient in Excel; familiarity with SQL is a plus.
• Experience with Netsuite is a plus.
• Experience in a public company is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Proactive in improving processes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
