Vice President, Corporate Finance - Remote

Overview

This role is critical in leading corporate finance activities and ensuring alignment between internal financial strategy and external investor engagement at Better, a company focused on making home finance more accessible.

In Short

• Lead annual budgeting, long-range planning, and rolling forecast processes.
• Own and evolve the consolidated financial model for strategic decisions.
• Partner with the CFO on capital structure and M&A analysis.
• Develop and improve investor communication materials.
• Deliver management and board reporting with financial insights.
• Serve as a finance partner to senior leaders for data-informed decisions.
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.
• Develop and execute an investor relations strategy.
• Manage communications with investors and analysts.
• Evaluate M&A and investment opportunities.

Requirements

• Experience in corporate finance, private equity, or investment banking.
• BA/BS in finance, economics, accounting, or mathematics preferred.
• Strong financial modeling skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Highly adaptable to ambiguous environments.
• Passionate about technology and finance.
• Knowledge of SQL and Tableau is a plus.
• Comfortable executing tasks at all levels.
