Overview

DroneSense is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Operations Specialist to scale our finance operations, focusing on the Order-to-Cash process and ensuring timely invoicing and collections.

In Short

• Critical role in Order-to-Cash process.
• Ensure accurate order entry, invoicing, and collections.
• Drive collections processes on a structured schedule.
• Generate accounts receivable reports.
• Collaborate with Customer Success and Finance teams.
• Identify and implement improvements in workflows.
• Double-check deal info to maintain accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding payments.
• Maintain up-to-date client info as payments are processed.
• Work closely with various teams to solve problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting and bookkeeping.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
• Experience with SaaS accounting protocols preferred.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Familiarity with CRMs like HubSpot or Salesforce.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
