Overview

DroneSense, part of Versaterm, is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead delivery for key customers in New York City, focusing on public safety agencies and ensuring reliable service delivery of the DroneSense platform.

In Short

• Lead the New York City deployment program and manage key customer relationships.
• Provide on-site technical support for a minimum of 96 hours per month.
• Establish 24/7 support escalation paths and lead incident response.
• Conduct quarterly audits with city users to gather feedback and implement improvements.
• Coordinate technical integrations across city IT and DroneSense engineering teams.
• Manage data governance and compliance needs for integrations.
• Deliver training and create quick-start guides for users.
• Communicate regularly with executive stakeholders on project status.
• Pre-plan resource support for large operations and events.
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure seamless platform upgrades.

Requirements

• 5+ years in technical program management or solutions engineering.
• Strong understanding of systems, networks, and incident management processes.
• Experience with APIs, observability tools, and ticketing systems.
• Ability to work on-site in NYC, including occasional nights and weekends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-oriented mentality with a focus on collaboration.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and execute objectives effectively.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
