Overview

Dedicated Human Resources (HR) business partner to respective senior business leadership and his/her senior staff in the identification and meeting of all HR needs. Serve as primary advisor and HR support sourcing manager for all assigned business(es) senior level (VP and above). Act as a liaison to all Centers of Excellence, including Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Training, Compensation (Payroll), Benefits, M&T Commitment and Talent Management.

  • Provide expert consultation in organizational effectiveness to business lines.
  • Facilitate the Middle Management Talent Review for succession planning.
  • Partner with business leadership for workforce planning and talent needs analysis.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives based on survey results.
  • Collaborate on compensation and performance management processes.
  • Manage staffing plans and recruiting objectives with business leaders.
  • Coordinate corporate training needs and effectiveness measures.
  • Advise on employee relations issues and collaborate with relevant centers of excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations.
  • Build relationships with business line leaders to support HR initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or four years relevant experience; Master’s and PHR/SPHR preferred.
  • 5+ years applicable Human Resources experience.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office and HR software.
  • Understanding of applicable laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
  • Travel throughout assigned territory as needed.
  • Ability to handle conflict and negotiate effectively.
