In Short

• Structure and negotiate high-value commercial agreements leveraging Magic Leap's intellectual property.
• Work closely with Legal to ensure proper IP protection while maximizing commercial value.
• Engage in strategic corporate transactions including M&A and complex licensing.
• Develop frameworks for valuing Magic Leap's IP portfolio.
• Collaborate with Finance to create financial models for partnership opportunities.
• Evaluate and recommend optimal commercial structures for technology partnerships.
• Model financial and legal implications of various partnership scenarios.
• Draft executive-level investment memoranda and partnership recommendations.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Legal teams.
• Support due diligence processes for strategic transactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or JD preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in corporate development or technology licensing.
• Track record of negotiating complex strategic transactions worth $100M+.
• Expert-level financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Strong background in developing commercial service business models.
• Experience valuing and monetizing intellectual property assets.
• Deep understanding of technology business models.
• Outstanding negotiation skills.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
