Overview

The Senior iSeries Administrator will focus on managing IBM i operating systems, ensuring system performance, security, and administration of database solutions.

• Administer IBM i operating systems and configurations.
• Manage IBM Power Systems and iSeries environments.
• Handle DB2 administration, including performance tuning.

• Provide 24x7 on-call support for database administration.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure solutions or database administration.
• Strong knowledge of automated deployment and cloud platforms.
• AWS SysOps certification or similar certifications preferred.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science preferred.
