Overview

This role involves translating and ensuring the quality of medical market research materials from English to Chinese, as well as managing related translation processes.

• Bilingual revision and quality checking of English medical market-research materials translated into Chinese.
• Translation and post-edition of medical market-research materials from English to Chinese.
• Updating previously translated materials in Chinese to match the latest English versions.
• Approval of new Chinese vendors in collaboration with the in-house vendor manager.
• Learning and suggesting improvements for the translation and quality processes.
• Maintaining related translation memories.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in English-Chinese translation.
• At least 2 years’ experience in medical market research translation.
• Native level Chinese speaker.
• Knowledge of medical market research terminology.
• Very good knowledge of Trados Studio or another CAT tool.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
