Collections Specialist - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.

In Short

• Contact clients regarding overdue accounts via phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Monitor and track accounts receivable to ensure accurate records of outstanding balances.
• Negotiate payment plans or settlements when necessary.
• Escalate delinquent accounts in accordance with company policies.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Prepare regular reports on collection activity, aging balances, and payment trends.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Requirements

• At least 1–2 years in collections, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting/CRM systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, HubSpot).
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Ability to work during U.S. business hours.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
