Join our team as a Data Protection Officer!

In Short

• Act as the contact point for data protection issues and inform employees of their obligations under GDPR.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate privacy-by-design principles.
• Monitor compliance with GDPR and other data protection laws.
• Act as the contact point for the Data Protection Authority in Latvia.
• Decide upon reporting data breaches and prepare needed documentation.
• Report data protection risks to stakeholders and management.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in data protection.
• Banking industry experience is appreciated.
• In-depth knowledge of data protection laws.
• Strong understanding of organizational data flows and information security practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
• CIPP certification is highly desirable.
• Fluent English and Latvian language skills.
