Luminary Group, a leading global consulting firm, is seeking a talented and experienced Business Development Director to join our client. As the Business Development Director for Real World Evidence (RWE), you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the healthcare industry by driving the adoption of RWE solutions across the USA.

In Short

  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to promote the adoption of our Real World Evidence solutions in the USA.
  • Identify and target potential clients within the pharmaceutical industry, payers, healthcare providers, and other relevant organizations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their needs and aligning our offerings to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored proposals and presentations for potential clients.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, including lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand our brand presence and generate leads.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful project implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline development, and revenue projections.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.
  • Strong understanding of Real World Evidence and its applications in healthcare.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
