Internal Audit & Compliance Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Internal Audit & Compliance Analyst to support our audit and compliance initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with experience in GRC tools, regulatory compliance, and cybersecurity frameworks.

In Short

• Conduct internal audits and readiness assessments for compliance frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and other privacy regulations.
• Identify compliance gaps and track remediation efforts.
• Maintain and manage GRC tools for compliance monitoring.
• Document and enhance security controls, policies, and procedures.
• Complete security and compliance self-assessment questionnaires.
• Collaborate with third-party auditors.
• Stay updated with cybersecurity and risk management frameworks.
• Support compliance with evolving regulations.
• Assist in developing compliance documentation and training programs.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in GRC, IT audit, compliance, or cybersecurity.
• Experience with software/SaaS companies preferred.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.).
• Experience with GRC tools (e.g., OneTrust, LogicGate).
• Understanding of privacy-enhancing technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate compliance requirements effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Experience with security self-assessment questionnaires is a plus.
• Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or ISO 27001 are a plus.
