Internal Auditor II - Compliance Audit - Remote

We are looking for an experienced Internal Auditor II of Compliance Audit to contribute to the ongoing development of the Internal Audit (IA) function and to Affirm’s efforts to achieve its business objectives. The Auditor of Compliance Audit will report to the Manager/Sr. Manager of Compliance Audit and will work alongside all members of the Internal Audit team in conducting audit and reviews to impact and influence positive business outcomes!

In Short

• Collaborate with Vertical Leads, Business Stakeholders, and IA Partners on Internal Audit projects.
• Execute audits focused on US and International regulations/programs.
• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of controls with business partners.
• Perform audit work using standard audit methodology.
• Contribute to Affirm’s Internal Audit strategy and roadmap.
• Support audit issue validation and closure procedures.
• Assess new products and processes for compliance risks.
• Develop knowledge of the audit profession and Affirm products.
• Align with federal, state, and international laws and guidelines.
• Maintain a regulatory compliance risk mindset.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of internal audit experience.
• Experience in financial services or with Big 4 audit firms preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related fields.
• Certifications in auditing preferred (CIA, CAMS, CRCM).
• Ability to summarize and document complex processes.
• Strong project/task management skills.
• Experience in integrated audits addressing compliance and operating objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
