In Short

• Manage, develop and improve Lucid’s compliance programs.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with Lucid’s compliance programs by monitoring emerging laws, regulations and changes in business operations and product development.
• Serve as Lucid’s subject matter expert on global laws and regulations relevant to SaaS operations, with an emphasis on data privacy laws.
• Responsible for risk-based privacy compliance assessments and maintaining compliance resources.
• Engage with teams to navigate compliance requirements related to product development.
• Promote privacy best practices across Lucid.
• Exercise independent judgment in supporting business teams.
• Develop expertise in our products and technology stack.

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school; admission to a State Bar.
• 3-5 years of relevant legal experience in SaaS technology.
• Experience formulating advice balancing legal risk and business impact.
• Ability to research and provide actionable analysis on regulations.
• Experience operationalizing compliance requirements with internal teams.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and provide clear direction.
• Willingness to interface with cross-functional teams.
• Highly responsive and service-driven.
