In Short

• We are hiring a Senior Engineer to contribute to our Product Catalog efforts.
• The Product Catalog is the backbone of LTK’s Creator-Driven Shopping App.
• This service will contain billions of items, powering scenarios such as price drops, link management, retailer availability, search, ranking, and similar product scenarios.
• The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of e-commerce and product catalog systems.
• You have experience building highly scalable systems that anticipate significant growth.
• You’ll simplify and get things done, working effectively with engineering teams.
• Drive tasks to completion and take ownership of projects.
• Conduct peer design/code reviews.
• Work with distributed teams across different time zones.
• Technical subject matter expert, who mentors fellow engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• History of designing and building highly scalable distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS systems such as ECS, Lambda, and RDS.
• Experience working in a containerized environment (preferably Docker).
• Experience writing services in Golang.
• Have built scalable internal and public-facing APIs (REST, JSON, HTTP).
• Experience integrating 3rd party APIs (REST, OAuth).
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
