Corporate Development & M&A Summer Internship - Remote

Overview

LTG plc is seeking a motivated summer intern to join the Corporate Development and M&A team. Working closely with the Head of Corporate Development and members of the Executive Leadership Team, the intern will support projects including acquisitions, divestitures as well as strategic market research within the corporate education sector.

In Short

• Assist in evaluating potential acquisition and investment opportunities through financial analysis.
• Support the preparation of financial models for transaction analysis.
• Conduct due diligence on prospective targets.
• Assist in executing divestiture projects.
• Research industry trends and competitive dynamics.
• Prepare internal memos and presentations for executive decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during transaction execution.
• Maintain transaction pipeline and M&A project trackers.
• Participate in team meetings and provide project updates.
• Take ownership of smaller research or modeling workstreams.

Requirements

• A keen interest in mergers and acquisitions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience building financial models and creating presentations.
• Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
• Understanding of valuation methodologies.
• Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field.
