Overview

This internship offers a unique opportunity to work with Mercury’s Corporate Development team, focusing on strategic and financial opportunities in the fintech sector.

In Short

• Work with the Head of Corporate Development on various strategic initiatives.
• Contribute to special projects including pricing, packaging, and business model evaluation.
• Support investor relations by preparing materials and tracking industry trends.
• Conduct competitive analysis and market landscapes.
• Assist with M&A pipeline tracking and preliminary evaluations.
• Prepare presentations and memos for leadership.
• Synthesize industry trends relevant to Mercury’s evolution.
• Internship duration is 12-16 weeks, with potential part-time continuation.
• Must be enrolled in a graduate program, ideally in business or finance.
• Paid opportunity with hourly rate of $40.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an MBA or related graduate program.
• Prior work experience in finance, consulting, or corporate development.
• Interest in fintech and knowledge of financial services.
• Proficient in financial modeling and data analysis.
• Experience with SQL and large datasets.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Clear communication skills for memos and presentations.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
