Overview

Longbridge is seeking an analytical Business Data Analyst to serve as the bridge between raw data and strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will have exceptional proficiency in SQL and SQL Server, with a strong business acumen to interpret complex datasets and provide insights directly to executives.

In Short

• Collaborate with executives and department leaders to gather data needs and deliver actionable business insights.
• Analyze and interpret data using SQL queries to support business operations and strategic decision-making.
• Design and execute complex SQL queries against SQL Server databases.
• Provide clear data visualizations and executive summaries to non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop documentation to support data definitions and business rules.
• Work with BI and data engineering teams to align reporting structures.
• Identify data quality issues and work with data stewards.
• Support ad hoc data requests and recurring business analysis initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a data-driven organization.
• Strong command of SQL.
• Experience interpreting large datasets.
• Statistical Analysis experience with various techniques.
• Proficiency in predictive modeling and machine learning approaches.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with executive stakeholders.
