Loan Operations Clerk - Remote

Overview

The Loan Operations Clerk ensures a smooth transition of operations and documentation from loan closing to payoff, providing administrative support for loan account documents and maintenance of document tracking exceptions.

In Short

• Perform research and respond to general loan account questions.
• Handle officer change updates and maintain customer contact information.
• Set up ACH information for customer payments.
• Provide payoff quotes and customer billing statements.
• Manage document tracking exceptions.
• Index and file loan documentation.
• Release collateral on paid loans and send documents to customers.
• Provide timely filing of UCC continuations.
• Assist external and internal customers with loan-related questions.
• Minimum 2 days in-person in the Richmond office.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of related experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles is a plus.
• Excellent skills in Word, Excel, and Windows file management.
• Proficient in web conferencing platforms.
• Strong web research skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently.
• Ability to document workflows and procedures.
