Join us and make YOUR mark on the World! We are looking for a Cybersecurity Reverse Engineer to strengthen the United States’ security by contributing to research projects in cybersecurity for critical infrastructure systems and civilian networks.

In Short

  • Perform static and dynamic analysis of binaries, firmware, and source code.
  • Collaborate on the development of automated software assurance tools.
  • Reverse engineer software, firmware, and malware binaries.
  • Interpret results of software analysis to ensure software security.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams for software assurance.
  • Co-author proposals and suggest program development opportunities.
  • Present results across multi-discipline projects.
  • Maintain a U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance.
  • Work independently while managing concurrent technical tasks.
  • Communicate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • Software engineering experience in C, C++, or Python.
  • Knowledge of program analysis of source code and binaries.
  • Experience with hardware or software debuggers.
  • Ability to manage concurrent technical tasks.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of software assurance for SES.2 level.
  • Knowledge of instruction set architectures like ARM and x86.
  • Advanced degree in a related field is desired.
  • Understanding of formal verification methods and industrial control systems.
