Senior Spacecraft Systems Engineer – Program Office Liaison - Remote

Overview

The Senior Spacecraft Systems Engineer will provide spacecraft and ballistic missile subject matter expertise in support of national security missions, collaborating with various teams and liaising with the Space Force.

• Provide key communication from the US government program office to LLNL.
• Advise on priorities and status of the USG program office.
• Provide technical support in spacecraft and missile defense subsystems.
• Conduct complex analyses of spacecraft and missile defense effectiveness.
• Collaborate with management and external sponsors.
• Develop and communicate results through reports and presentations.
• Review intelligence reports and provide technical analysis.
• Travel as needed for presentations.
• Perform other assigned duties.
• Additional responsibilities for SES.4 level include leading program development and strategic planning.

Requirements

• Active DOE Q-level clearance or Top Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Experience in spacecraft subsystems or functions.
• Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary personnel.
• Advanced communication skills for team collaboration.
• Ability to travel as needed.
