Software Team Leader - Remote

Overview

LiveU is looking for a talented team lead to join LiveU's R&D and lead a multidisciplinary development team focused on cutting edge video distributing technologies.

In Short

• Lead a dynamic Agile Scrum team of developers and QA engineers.
• Drive end-to-end execution of complex R&D projects.
• Promote engineering best practices, including clean code principles.
• Mentor and support the professional growth of team members.
• Develop high-performance features for LiveU’s video-over-IP platform.
• Collaborate with other Scrum teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or related field or practical experience from an elite IDF technology unit.
• At least 5 years of development experience + 2 years as a team lead.
• Solid background in object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Experience with multi-threaded and distributed applications.
• Proficiency in Linux/UNIX environments.
• Strong development background in C++ and/or C.
• Familiarity with Python is an advantage.
• Experience in video streaming or real-time media systems is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments; Scrum Master experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
