Junior Java Developer - Remote

Overview

Welcome to the Proactive Messaging team at LivePerson! We are a team of 4 engineers located across 2 countries (India and Germany). We are looking for a Software Engineer (SDE I) (all genders) to join our team. You will work in a fast-paced environment on projects spanning different company areas, aiming to enhance and simplify how brands engage with their customers through messaging.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2 - 3 years of experience with Java, primarily using Springboot.
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and relational databases.
• Proficient in GitLab CI and FluxCD.
• Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban).
• Strong communication skills in English.
