Senior Manager/Director, Data Analysis - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Manager/Director with expertise in Medicare Part D data and systems to lead a team of Data Scientists and Analysts. The successful candidate will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting complex healthcare data to support the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in ongoing oversight analytics tasks and to support proactive monitoring activities to identify anomalies and the potential for fraud, waste, and abuse.

In Short

• Develop an annual Analytics Plan to identify analyses for each contract year.
• Oversee data management to ensure proper sorting and evaluation.
• Create detailed reports and visualizations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in data science, focusing on healthcare data analysis.
• Experience with fraud, waste, and abuse investigations.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, and SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
