Website Designer - Remote

Overview

The Website Designer will collaborate with a team to design inspiring, user-friendly web and digital content. Reporting to the Communications Director, this role will plan and execute highly effective website and digital platform designs.

In Short

• Design and update company websites focusing on user experiences.
• Conduct product reviews and provide design solutions.
• Serve as an accessibility subject matter expert.
• Participate in operational and technical planning.
• Perform accessibility testing for websites and digital content.
• Remediate accessibility errors and update reports.
• Create graphic assets for digital and print materials.
• Manage and update content using a web content management system.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and HITECH.
• Assist in preparation for ISO audits.

Requirements

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and assistive technologies.
• Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
• Extensive knowledge of design principles and front-end development.
• Bachelor’s degree in design, communications, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of web development experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Figma, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Experience implementing complex websites and responsive design.
• Solid grasp of web development best practices and standards.
