Senior Data Manager - Remote

Overview

The Sr. Data Manager will be responsible for performing or overseeing vendors to perform Data Management operational end-to-end activities and participate as an active member in a cross-function study team to plan, lead, and execute tasks required for assigned clinical studies across all phases.

In Short

• Lead Data Management of clinical studies with minimal guidance.
• Manage and monitor data management activities with CROs and vendors.
• Review protocols for appropriate data capture.
• Develop data edit check specifications and data listings.
• Coordinate Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system design.
• Attend study meetings and provide Data Management updates.
• Provide training on EDC systems and eCRF Completion Guidelines.
• Perform database interim snapshot, lock, and freeze activities.
• Maintain data management files.
• Lead database upgrades/migrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in life-science-related fields preferred.
• 8+ years of data management experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in retina diseases and/or gene therapies is a plus.
• Hands-on operational experience in clinical trials.
• In-depth knowledge of CDISC data standards.
