Finance & Business Development Working Student - Remote

We’re a stealth, VC-backed pre‑seed/seed stage start-up disrupting a legacy mobility sector. With a proven expansion blueprint and a targeted M&A strategy, we’re set to triple revenue this year. Our founders – serial entrepreneurs who previously raised >USD 80m from Tier-1 US investors – are now launching into a new market. Further details will be shared during recruitment.

In Short

• Prepare and organize financial documents, invoices, and receipts for bookkeeping.
• Assist in building controlling structures, developing reports, and tracking KPIs.
• Coordinate with external payroll providers for payroll-related tasks.
• Serve as the primary contact for accounting partners for monthly and annual closings.
• Support financial data preparation and analysis for M&A projects.

Requirements

• A true generalistic finance and accounting enthusiast.
• Experienced in fast-paced environments like start-ups or investment banking.
• A proactive communicator and team player with a service mindset.
• Passionate about accounting, finance, and the start-up ecosystem.
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s programme.
• Fully fluent in German is a must.
• Available for >6 months ideally in Berlin, starting ASAP.
• First experiences in accounting, finance, and bookkeeping is a plus.
