As our new Senior Data Engineer, you would be at the heart of our analytics engine, working with modern tools like Snowflake, dbt, Stitch, and Python to deliver data that makes a difference.

We’re looking for someone who’s not only fluent in data modeling, but who gets excited about collaborating with business leaders, improving systems, and pushing our data infrastructure to the next level.

In Short

• Create, test, and maintain ETL systems that feed the Business Intelligence platform.
• Work closely with senior management to ensure all ETL processes are created, troubleshot, and improved optimally.
• Ensure that business intelligence applications enhance decision-making capabilities.
• Execute advanced SQL development to create robust reporting tools.
• Tune databases and data models for optimum reporting performance.
• Design and implement processes for monitoring the health of the BI platform.
• Design and implement processes for validating and verifying ETL processes.
• Participate in the incident management process to support overall issue resolution.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced SQL development experience with transactional data and data warehouse coding.
• Experience developing data warehouses using Snowflake.
• Working knowledge of ETL environments using Snowflake, dbt, Stitch API connectors, and Python.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.
• Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
