Social Worker – Learning Disabilities Team - Remote

Overview

An exciting job role has recently become available in Tameside. They are looking for a new member for their Learning Disabilities Team.

In Short

• An exciting opportunity to join a newly established Learning Disability, Autism, and Transitions team.
• Support ensuring that the Learning Disability and Autism Team is Care Act compliant.
• Provide Care Act assessment, support planning, review, safeguarding, mental capacity, and best interest work.
• Participate in the duty function and improve outcomes for individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.
• Work with young people transitioning from Children’s services.
• Enhanced pay rate, usually set at £30 per hour.
• Attractive hybrid working model with at least two days from home.
• Reasonable expectations and caseloads with regular supervision.

Requirements

• Social Work England registration.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Hold a full UK licence.
• Post-qualified experience.
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work.
