Social Worker – Adult Safeguarding Team - Remote

Overview

An experienced Social Worker is needed to join Bolton’s Adult Safeguarding Team, responsible for handling safeguarding cases and ensuring compliance with relevant policies.

In Short

• Handle new and unallocated safeguarding cases.
• Screen safeguarding referrals as a duty worker.
• Conduct and manage Section 42 enquiries under the Care Act 2014.
• Ensure compliance with Bolton’s safeguarding policies.
• Apply knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act.
• Conduct MCA assessments and Best Interests decisions.
• Work in a supportive team with excellent training opportunities.
• Remote/hybrid working available.
• Competitive pay rate of £30 per hour.
• Must be a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.

Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
• Post-qualified experience.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving license required.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.
• Knowledge of the Care Act 2014.
• Understanding of the Mental Capacity Act.
