IT Asset and Accounts Specialist - Remote

Overview

Lincoln International is looking for a detail-oriented IT Asset and Accounts Specialist to help manage the organization’s IT assets and user accounts. This role is responsible for tracking hardware and software inventory, handling user account setup and access management, and ensuring compliance with security and licensing policies.

In Short

• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT hardware, software, and licenses.
• Assist with PC and mobile phone procurement, allocation, and decommissioning.
• Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and company policies.
• Conduct regular audits of IT assets and accounts to generate reports.
• Create, update, and deactivate user accounts across various systems.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Liaise with vendors to resolve hardware and account-related issues.
• Provide basic troubleshooting and support for account-related issues.
• Work with IT and security teams to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Stay informed on IT asset management and security best practices.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in IT support, asset management, or account administration.
• Basic understanding of IT hardware, software, and user account management.
• Familiarity with systems like Microsoft 365, Active Directory, or similar tools is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic IT issues and communicate effectively with users.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Experience with IT ticketing systems or asset management tools.
• Knowledge of security best practices for account and access management.
• Interest in automation or process improvement in IT operations.
